    To Whom It May Concern.

My name is Stacey Mundraby and I am trying to find my long lost grandmother (my grandmothers sister) who left Australia in the 60’s she was in the Royal Australian Army and Suppositively left for scotland and never came back. She last lived in Strathdon. Her name is Veronica Noble and she married Duncan Grassick. She has three children Duncan, Michelle & Andrew. She has been back to Australia once in the mid 90’s with her daughter Michelle. She will be 70 this month. I am very keen to contact her so any information is valuable towards my quest in finding her. Thank you for your time. Stacey

Hi Stacey, Can you please email me? I am not sure if you are referring to my Aunty Ivy (middle name Veronica). Children are Michelle and Andrew but not Duncan. Youngest child is Stuart. Are you in Australia? I am in Brisbane. (
      Regards, Dawn

      Hi Robert,

Thanks for getting in touch. As you can see, I haven’t been very active recently. But I would be more than happy if you have ideas for developing the content further. The idea was always to make the site open to any Grassicks interested in our ancestry. I’ll send you a quick email so we can start direct contact.

      Best Wishes,

Thankyou for all of the fantastic information you have, I’ve worked quite hard to find record of my Grandfather but hit so many dead ends. If yourself or anyone else studying can help, also if anyone is studying Grassicks specifically going Scotland > England > Canada I would love to share anything.

      Hi Lee,

Sorry for the long delay in replying. As you can see I’ve not been able to do much updating since the original material was uploaded. But feel free to submit any Grassick ancestry info and I’ll post it up.

      Best Wishes

Hello, I am Duncan Grassick and am intersted in this site. My family, obviously of Scots origin went to the Argentine in the mid 1800s.

    Hi Duncan,
Thanks for getting in touch. With “Duncan” as a first name, there’s a chance we are related. Do you know any more about your family’s move to the Argentine?

    Best wishes

PS As you can see, I haven’t been able to keep up with postings on this site for some years, I’m about to move all the information over to my personal website,, which will hopefully keep any info I develop in the public domain.
